Functions of High Precision Programmable DC Power Supply
High precision programmable DC power supplies are engineered for high-speed voltage boost or no-load current boost modes, featuring front-end voltage boost, high voltage output and priority waveform output modes. They are widely adopted for high-precision testing of aerospace power modules and other products.
The core functions of high precision programmable DC power supplies fall into four categories as follows:
(I) Automatic Integration
The front and rear panels are equipped with output terminals, sensing terminals and test terminals. The standard chassis size is 1/2 rack unit, and it is fitted with complete communication interfaces supporting SCPI and Modbus communication protocols, enabling seamless integration into automatic test systems.
(II) Remote Sensing Compensation Function
When the instrument outputs large current, thin test leads carry significant resistance, which creates a large voltage drop along the wiring from the power supply to the DUT (device under test). This makes the actual voltage at the terminals of the tested component lower than the set output voltage of the instrument. To guarantee that the voltage applied to the test component matches the preset output value, the remote sensing function compensates for voltage loss on the test cables.
(III) User-Friendly Design
It adopts a 4.3-inch high-definition display screen that simultaneously shows all configuration parameters and output statuses. Quick control knobs for voltage, current and time are arranged in the adjustment area on the left side of the screen for convenient operation. A numeric keypad allows fast and accurate entry of setup parameters, eliminating the low efficiency and inaccuracy brought by potentiometer adjustment.
(IV) Powerful Waveform Editing Capability
The instrument can store up to 100 sets of parameter records, each storing preset voltage, current, running duration and step counts. Users can directly recall any record from the recall list as needed. The device also supports quick access to 100 trigger files, and each trigger file contains 100 programmable trigger steps.
